  • Also, this is indirectly implied from your previous messages here as well trying to defend why you did not send me the Steam key. Besides that, you still have the game in your tradables at this point and you've been trying to trade it for the past 4 days.

  • Steam support does not provide information about Steam keys. Besides that, even if the key was not activated now, it does not mean it won't be used at a later point by you/your friend. I have no guarantee of that. Let the moderators decide, who is right.
  • avatar If you contact Steam support and tell them you are trying to check if a CD key is valid, Steam Support can tell you if they're valid or not. Just tell them you're trying to give a key to a friend and don't want to risk giving them a used key.

Usually, I would not send the key first to someone with such a low reputation, but after the previous successful trade, I thought it would be without any issues. I was mistaken!

  • If you contact Steam support and tell them you are trying to check if a CD key is valid, Steam Support can tell you if they're valid or not. Just tell them you're trying to give a key to a friend and don't want to risk giving them a used key.

  • avatar For the moderator 2: He claims that the key I sent him was not used, but I have no guarantee of that. I selected "I sent item, but received nothing", because that is exactly what happened in my point of view.
  • For the moderator: After the first successful trade with Katashi two days ago, I accepted his new trade offer and sent him the key in the chat. He says that he is no longer interested in the game and that he got it for his friend from elsewhere.
