  • I wouldn't have blamed you for a formal key, even if the game doesn't work. That's the dev's problem. You kept the info until this revelation, then it's your problem. See the difference? I didn't steal from you, just trying to match up with your stuff. You can have Pixel Puzzles Junior in your library and enjoy playing it or just leave empty-handed and keep calling me a thief for all I care. I am tired of this meaningless debate.
  • What I want are games with legit licenses, not "test" of any sort. You have failed your part of the deal, so you don't deserve what I was going to offer completely.

  • avatar In your library there are no words "test" - there is a full game. Retail key you get on the account is not something else, namely the same game under the same ID code
  • Do not say stupid things. You have already written below that press keys add the IDENTICAL application to library, as does the retail key. So no matter what key you use, you get the same for account.
  • avatar I just don't want to see that word "test" with any games in my library, regardless of actual risks, psychological effects or other reasons. These games don't even have a purchase button, so that pledge is nonsense.
  • avatar If my keys are ever revocation - I will compensate for these games by purchasing in the Steam store. Opponent says frank nonsense in every sentence, completely not understanding the principles of the keys for the press and calling them "test".

  • Like I said, there are two things I don't feel comfortable in this trade, the hidden information and the test keys. He could have done just one thing right: either with "test" labels ahead or without extra notification but delivering formal keys.
  • avatar There are offers in which it is critical to reveal that the keys are betas, usually for unreleased / EA games. Then there are risks of revocation. For this offer, the keys you received appear to have no material differences from "normal" keys.

  • Game Maniac, it's understandable to be concerned about revocation. However, since both of these games have been released for over 2 years, it seems highly unlikely that beta keys would be revoked now.
  • avatar I didn't say he should go empty-handed. I decided to offer him Pixel Puzzles Junior in return, he didn't get the message though. He wouldn't hear me out and just unfriended me before I suggested the compensation.
  • He never told me these keys are testing before the trade, this is very misleading at best, or shall I call it half scam? He kept this critical information from me, which led to my misjudgement. Had I known it, I wouldn't have accepted the offer.
  • No traders would like to take test keys of any kind instead of normal ones, especially when there is no warning ahead.
  • He did give me something, two beta testing keys instead of the normal ones. These keys are inferior in my opinion, because there are extra risks of revocation, plus potential bugs in them.Test keys for formal keys is unfair.
  • avatar This is confirmed by number games on my account, number trades and the absence of negative reviews or disputes due to the withdraw keys. Opponent said that in his opinion to take such keys is a risk and refused to seend his part games
  • I handed my keys first. These keys are pre-release keys for the press and have a postscript "for beta testing", like all such keys according to the Steam policy. Keys for the press activate the full version of the game and never withdraw from account.
