  • I no longer need the game but I want to work with you to rectify this. Due to really good experiences here on Barter I unfortunately did not even think the person messaging me would be a scammer even though I had someone add me earlier I didn't recognize.
  • avatar Regarding impersonators, there is unfortunately little I can do except warn people that I have had an impersonator and add traders myself instead of letting them add me.
  • Thank you for your comment in the Barter steam chat group. I want to complete the original offer we had together but I don't want the dispute to remain. As soon as the dispute is gone I will send you another offer and we can trade for good.
  • avatar I won't be leaving any other bad comments. Someone is impersonating you, or was, I would be careful of your other offers and warn your traders. You can talk to some of the more popular trades on here as well. They were also impoersonated.

  • Upon further investigation, The steam profile linked to this profile never accepted my friend request. A user seems to be searching for higher users and impersonating them on Steam. Currently with a long list of users they have pretended to be.
  • User created alternate account on Steam with same profile picture and name and asked for key vs gift link. I foolishly provided the key and trusted the user.
