  • avatar ...retail keys (which can also be revoked if obtained by fraud - for example, by hacking bundle sites or using a stolen credit card)
  • Such keys can be revoked if these keys are obtained by fraud and the developer decided to revoke them. This has nothing to do with the beta test period and "betta testing" keys have no greater likelihood of revocation than retail keys
  • Marked "For betta testing" means only that the game can be installed and launched from the Steam library before the official release. 99% of the press-keys, which the developers send to YouTube, Steam to the curators, etc. have such marked.
  • avatar I just dont want keys revoked and being a beta key is sometimes used as a reason for sketchy devs to revoke keys, is it not?
  • avatar I do not know if there is a similar postscript on my keys, but it is quite likely that it exists. If you have a “strange point” to dislike such keys and you don’t understand what “for betta testing” means, it’s better to cancel the deal
  • Nevertheless, you need to understand that reviewers usually receive codes with such a postscript, as developers want reviewers to have the opportunity to try out the game and publish a review before the official release
  • This postscript does not carry another meaning and does not affect the likelihood of revoced game from account.
  • With such mark, Steam marks codes that allow you to install the game and start playing it before the official release. Codes without this mark block the ability download game before release.
  • Let's better clarify right away, do you understand what the marking "for betta testing" means? :)
  • avatar ok as long as they arent beta or alpha keys then it's cool, friend me on Steam when you are ready for the trade
  • avatar I am steam curator, so my keys from developers
  • avatar where are your keys from? I dont accept beta keys or keys from grey market sellers.
  • I'm not super interested in Nepenthe so I countered
  • No grey market keys. Quality offers for any marked as "may keep". Warn if region-lock. Personal use only: will not accept or give gift links Overview
