  • avatar It's a slim chance that things could go pear-shaped, but I would rather be safe than follow the barter hierarchy of "I have more trades" and activate your key first. Because I have no recourse if mine is incorrect in some way, whereas you do :)
  • With a Fanatical mystery bundle you have the same rights once it's activated, but only after that point. They can't take the game from you after activation, but if there is a problem with the key then they aren't obliged to give me the same game.
  • Humble bundle guarantee the keys because they are in fixed bundles. As a user you might not reveal the key at the time of purchase, and so the only issue that might occur is that they run out before you claim. They are still obliged to provide a key.
