  • avatar (2/2) Normally this kind of situation is resolved in one of three ways: "A": canceling the offer entirely (secv 河豚 keeping Friends vs Friends to trade it to someone else); "B": agreeing on a different game to trade (Tin Can for other game); "C": going through with it anyway (gabrielxart finding some other use for Friends vs Friends, like a friend or another trade). "A" is the most basic option, and you cannot force the other party into "B" or "C".
  • (1/2) There is no Barter policy that forces the second trader to send the key if the first trader's key does not work. In this case both of you could have realised the region lock issue and talked about it beforehand - from our side there is no single party to blame. It is good that you started out by sending the region locked key and found out quickly that it does not work. If you had first sent out & redeemed Tin Can, it would be more complicated.

  • avatar I admit that was my fault, because of my careless I forgot to check the subid and details. But I can't take my key to trade it, becasue other party key will expire. I swear, this is the first time I know the subid.
  • He threatened me if I don't send the key to him right now, then he will immediately dispute on Barter.vg.
  • The other party said: "You have no choice, you must comply with the Barter.vg terms". I try to resolve disputes and I suggest to trade the other equivalence key on this trade, but the other party just keep to want me to send the key to him.
  • When I know the key can't be redeem in my country, I promise the other party I will never try to redeem or overt the key. And then he told me: "By the Barter.vg rules, you must send me the key because of my key was already overt to you".

  • avatar Ideally, both of you would agree on some other replacement game that can be redeemed in HK. In this case, gabrielxart should promise that they won't try to redeem the key for Friends vs Friends (on a different account) and secv 河豚 should try to trade it away to someone else as soon as possible. Do you think this is a reasonable way to solve this dispute?
  • @gabrielxart: secv 河豚 is not a dishonest trader and marked their tradable accordingly, mentioning not only that it's the ROW sub, but also adding the subid to it. Clicking on the link would have shown you that it's not redeemable in HK. Unfortunately you can only redeem a SEA copy, which is extremely hard to find.
