  • Actually no, I was correct the first time around. Just put an item on sale on Steam marketplace for $X and it got put for $X+fees instead. So I would get only about $8.23 from selling 4 keys for $2.42, i.e. 4*2.42*0.85 = $8.23, and 7 keys would be needed to cover $13.39.
  • Ah, sorry, my calculations are wrong. Community Market FAQ says that it's the buyer who pays the Steam Transaction Fee, not the seller. So 4 keys would sell for 4*2.42 = $9.68 and 6 keys would be needed to cover $13.39.
  • A Mann Co key sells for around $2.42 on Steam marketplace, and when selling it there is 15% fee: 5% marketplace fee + 10% TF2 fee. If sold, 4 keys would result in: 4*2.42*0.85 = $8.23 Steam wallet balance, not $13.39. 7 keys are needed to cover $13.39.
  • How did you came up with 4 keys being enough to buy Project Zomboid on Steam while on a sale? Perhaps it's priced cheaper in your region? I'm in the US region. According to IsThereAnyDeal, Project Zomboid goes on sale on Steam for 13.39 USD.
