  • avatar Also, even in the assumption that you get them directly from LLZ / Arty / Carlmundo and similar traders, off-Barter, it's also pretty hard to believe that they would trade them at a low enough value so you can have at least some profit when trading them upwards (value-wise) on Barter.
  • Thirdly, it's hard to believe that you get these keys from Kinguin and not directly from devs. Obviously, who lists them on Kinguin doesn't list them for 1€. And I doubt that you can "buy" a game directly from the dev for 1€; if this was possible, one would buy a few dozen copies, but you seem to have only one usually. Something doesn't add up with your statements. Plus, why would you prefer trading them on Barter instead of selling them directly on Kinguin / other grey market yourself?
  • Secondly, you sent an offer with Tavern Talk to Askani which is a new user and probably has very little knowledge about all this. You already know that this is something we're very much against. We had to decline it, which gave you one strike. Why you do this to yourself when you could avoid this completely - I have no idea.
  • You cancelled the current offer to izzyyy and maybe like you said, you cancelled all Non-Intervention offers for Tavern Talk but this is not what we asked. We specifically asked to leave only those offers to users known to pay a considerable amount for these keys. naterade, Fat Mac are some of these users, but for example you left KuroSun open even though KuroSun doesn't regularly trade with curators resellers. Furthermore, your multi-user offer is still available, and that one is full of dev keys.
  • First of all, we're not trying to start a war with you. We're trying to help you and notifying you in advance that your outgoing offers *should* be declined. We don't want to give you unnecessary extra strikes when you could cancel them yourself to avoid this. In reality, you cancelled FOUNDRY because you found a buyer. You had an offer accepted for Tavern Talk but did not cancel all the outgoing ones.

  • Hallak65 The last time I got suspended, my suspension was not lifted, because I left a bunch of my offer on that you thought but did not tell me I should cancel. So now I canceled and that's bad now. What was the right move in this case?
  • Hallak65 I buy those keys from kinguin or from those who get them from the devs ofc cheaper than I trade them. I cancelled all TT offer where mediator action was on. It is not trolling, but doing what you said. You said don't spam offer, so I cancelled a bunch.
  • avatar It's not like you buy those keys. The problem is that you get them for free from devs, and still you want 4 TF2 for them. Does that sound fair to you? Curator activations and dev keys are treated the same way by us. Also, cancelling this offer to izzyyy just because we happened to comment on it, but not cancelling all other ongoing offers with Tavern Talk is some next level trolling for izzyyy.

  • avatar Or trade them to people who are know to pay a lot of money for free dev keys - the usual people who trade with P2K, EVG, Carlmundo and a few others. Spamming outgoing offers to get new "clients" is a no-go.
  • To be more specific, you recently started to be more proactive in trading away dev keys. While you're not trading all of them at gg.deals value, you do try to get full retail value for some. This is very much frowned upon and as you know, several dev key / curator traders have been permanently banned. If you don't want to go down that path too, perhaps you should reconsider trading these away on Barter.
