According to Steam support, the key was used on Dec 6, so HB is NOT at fault. Let's not waste time speculating on what might have happened. I trust that we're both being honest and that there was an unintentional mishap somewhere along the way. Take care! 16 months ago

I'm sure. I never traded the key or activated it before giving it to my friend who I trust completely. When he told me it was a dupe, I tested it and confirmed. No idea if it's possible for keys bought from HB to be bad. Stuff happens. No one's to blame. 16 months ago
