  • @Bart-ee: Not to mention the risks of acquiring the key from such sources. Meanwhile legit sites sell it for like 14.5. And finally if you check my library, you'll see I activated the keys myself.
  • @Bart-ee: Please note I took into consideration the 5% off Fanatical coupon. So the value is on par with the current price of Biomutant on grey market, which I believe is not even the final price as they have a tendencyu to apply hidden fees.
  • @Bart-ee: The other one is in a bundle with 4 other titles, for like 6. Considering the quality & value of the other titles and applying some math I'd say the value is around 1.7. So boths around 6.5 or less.
  • @Bart-ee: Both are currently bundled at fanatical, Kingdom of the Dead is on par with at least 2 other titles from the Diamond Collection, so can be obtained for 4.75 maybe less if you buy more than 3 titles.
  • @Bart-ee: Biomutant is an AA title with a base price of 39.99. Home Sweet Home Ep 2 & Kingdom of the Dead are more like indie titles (base price 19.99 & 14.99 respectively).
  • @Bart-ee: If you read my description, you should clearly see the priority in valuating the items. For this particular trade I looked for the quality of the games involved, base prices and how much would it cost to get them now from legit stores.
  • @Bart-ee: If by reselling you mean exchange spare my copies for TF2 & Gems, yeah I'm probably one. The main purpose is to exchange them for games from my wishlist and I specifically want them from trustworthy sources, not the grey market.
  • avatar @atombomb2097: Most traders already use this system because of the sheer amount of resellers that abuse the Barter community. This as a base of evaluation together with H:W / T: WL and personal interest is ultimately the best approach for self protection.
  • @atombomb2097: As long as you resell these games, it's pretty obvious that the evaluation system should be based on the prices at which these games are sold, otherwise you just shark new users for profit.

  • This is precisely what I'm saying, your example is based exclusively on key-shop prices. Expecting people to do the same and invoking fairness is debateable.
