  • ...because I only trade for the fun of exchanging games not profit . If you are satisfied with blocking a user like.myself and yet allowing self-proclaimed resellers use the platform for profit , I am sure something has seriously changed with the original spirit of barter. Kudos !!!

  • It is funny though, if you check my latest trade (risk of rain 2 for deliver us moon) you would see I traded an 8£ game for 3£ one (per gg deals, which I would not have checked unless you pointed me towards it yesterday ). I am totally fine with that
  • I am also not that frequent in barter, only started using the platform after I bought the last three hb monthly bundles. I didn't even know a user can be blocked because of the allegedly lowball offers he/she sends
  • It's really nice of you to take the time and answer my comments (after you blocked me from barter ). I any case a simple browse in my history and steam profile would convince you that I only trade games I play (never buy or sell from GG.deals etc).
  • avatar @El Eternauta: When almost everyone on Barter trades based on gg.deals, it's silly for you to say "nope, I want to trade based on whatever I like". You're surely free to do so, but not on Barter. If you want to trade on Barter, you have to follow Barter trading guidelines. Funny how all your offers are always in your favor based on gg.deals, even if you claim you don't use gg.deals. H:W ratio is of course still important, but it's just a secondary factor.
  • avatar Unless barter is affiliated to gg.deals, I see no reason why I should feel lowballed or lowballing if I accept/make reasonable offers :-) :-)
  • As far as I can remember lowball had to do with h:w ratio and,/or number of times bundled and all things considered occasionally steam price. I do not have neither time nor interest to check GG deals before I place an offer, and I'm ok with this
  • Thanks for the comment bartee. I base my offers on h:w ratio not grey market prices and I think that is a totally fair offer in this respect unless we take as a standard the prices of key stores which are partially operable because of "pro" traders here
