🗣️ Mediator Advice On: Volunteers may advise on the fairness of this offer (on due to receiver's offer preferences).

Declined (not worth it to this user)
pshea40 declined (not worth it to me) offer from TML
  • < TML proposed offer to pshea40
  • 🕗 TML set proposed offer to expire
  • avatar Quality and whether a game was free before also influence value. I'll heed your warnings, but I demand fair treatment.
  • I find your accusations unjust and infuriating. I do not engage in lowballing or sharking intentionally. While value perceptions may differ, it's important to note that GG Deals prices aren't the sole factor.
  • Stick to moderating the platform rather than making unwarranted accusations.
  • Let's refrain from assuming my awareness or intentions. In both instances, both parties were satisfied with the trade, and frankly, that's none of your business. I'll take responsibility for my actions,
  • avatar Ok, yes, but that doesn't justify your constant intention of sharking. Sending offers hoping that some victim will accept it, unaware of the value difference is simply lowballing. This is not currently tolerated on Barter, if the mediators get a chance to see those offers in time. Plus, you have been already warned about this, yet disregarded the warning and made new lowball offers.
  • avatar I'd like to highlight that while some of my offers may fall outside those ranges, they are often directed towards experienced users who can assess offers based on their own judgment.
  • avatar For example, in u/a35b/o/6051063/ did you know in advance that your key will be resold? Your friend attempted to retrade it right away for extra profit, was permabanned for this after several previous warnings. Did you know that Fantasy World Souls came directly from the dev, who was convinced to send a large quantities to certain users that then traded them away on Barter for profit? Truly, ignorance is bliss.
  • The platform allows users to negotiate and decline offers as long as those offers are in a decent range of value. Mediators are also allowed to decline the offers that are outside those ranges. Experienced users like pshea40 can judge an offer themselves but there are many other less experienced users who would not know how to properly evaluate their offers.
  • avatar For example, I recently swapped V Rising ($25) for FORCED ($0.91), Vampire Survivors ($4.08), and Fantasy World Souls ($4.99). This trade illustrates the subjective nature of fairness; both of us were satisfied.
  • fairness is inherently subjective and varies from person to person. The platform allows users to negotiate and decline offers, ensuring that no one is forced into an unfair trade.
  • I understand that rules are in place to prevent abuse and ensure a balanced trading environment. However, I believe that my actions did not constitute a major offense as I have always allowed for fair negotiation and the recipient's ability to decline
  • The rules state that trading such keys should be done fairly, but fairness can be subjective, especially when both parties agree to the terms of a trade. If a user feels an offer is not to their liking, they are free to decline.
  • Regarding the developer keys, I acknowledge that these items were received for free, but I do not believe this inherently devalues them to the extent suggested.
  • avatar You should already know that trading a dev key that you got for free for x1.5 it's FULL RETAIL value is a major offense on Barter.
  • You're trading on Barter, thus you need to follow Barter rules, and not the ones you invent. If you want to trade your dev keys for these values, just use another trading platform, several other options exist. Considering that you have been warned already, expect a suspension any time soon if you continue with these exaggerated offers.
  • avatar Please stop crying about it being a dev key. If the guy I am trading with does not like dev key he can decline right away And you should probably know that previously Bundled/Free leftover games are worth less than a new unbundled release
  • avatar x3 the gg.deals value, for what probably is a dev key.
  • avatar Hi! My trade offers are based on GG.deals prices and the game's bundling/free history. Free and repeatedly bundled games don't compare to new, never-bundled ones, which is why I ask for 2x value. Feel free to counteroffer or comment with your terms. Overview
