  • avatar Dear Lironez, as I said, I'm oficcial reseller and paying of fees&taxes (25% of games price), my profit on this trade are only 0.50$ (where you found x2 - idk), thats not much and you was served fast and smooth.

  • Again, I'm not a mod here so it's not my responsibility but I do think people who are making money off of me and others like me should be 100% transparent and *fair*. If you're making money off me you should pay the taxes that come with it.
  • When I realized you were a reseller I did try to nudge you towards the games I wanted more but let it go because I really did want The Hex. I'm not upset or dissatisfied with the trade, I just think Bart-ee has a strong argument and I kind of agree.
  • I was not aware of you being a reseller initially so I gave a bunch of choices for trading as I do in all my trades, to ensure that something can be worked out.
  • I will note that I insisted on Forgive Me Father 2 in steam chat but you declined. I get it, you're doing business, not trading for yourself, but if you're using me insisting as an argument this also has to be said.
  • avatar Ok, but it's Lironez insist that The Hex must be one of choices, then Castlevania (2.77) + Forgive Me father 2 (2.54) more expensive that Hotline Miami 2, so there will be no profit and sence to do this trade.
  • avatar To reiterate, the x2 rule applies only to UNBUNDLED games. You're trading here BUNDLED games and especially very common ones. Bundled game exchanges should be similar in value. If instead you would have picked Castlevania + Forgive Me father 2, this would have been a fair enough trade.

  • For example, Metro Exodus current net price are 3.44, for you it will be 4.26 at ggdeals (because it shows gross prices, so better use allkeyshop where you can use filters), for me 3.44 - 25% fee&tax = 2.58eu
  • fyi, any goods has a net price, for buyer the tax is added to the net price, and for the seller, it is deducted from the net price, thats how it works.
  • avatar You can't ask for x2 of the price and then also squeeze more money for taxes out of people. Just my opinion though.
  • Resellers should suffer the entire brunt of the taxation, not the other way around. I'm trading to trade, for personal use. You are trading for money, to resell. If you're reselling, you should pay the tax.
  • Also also not sure if this was on purpose but lowballing my games while keeping yours at the exact cost seems sketchy, especially when you're being accused of lowballing in trades as a reseller, just my two cents though :>
  • Also it's 2.92 and 4.26 according to gg.deals which comes to = 7.18. Still not above x2 as of right now but sits snug between 1.8 to 2.
  • I'm not staff or anything but I'm pretty sure "fee&tax" aren't relevant. The rule states you may not accept offers above 1.8x-2.0x either way.
  • avatar @Bart-ee in this offer no x2 difference, Metro Exodus - 3.44 and Gladius Relics of War - 2.29 = 5.73, then - 25% fee&tax = I could get not more than 4.30 eu. Meanwhile, The Hex - 2.09 + 1.83 = 3.92eu

  • avatar @Lironez: It's not quite fine for Jarlaxe, who already has a final warning before a permaban, and still decided to accept a x2 offer in his favor, when he knows that he is allowed to do that only with unbundled games. He could have picked other games on his side to make the offer more balanced, but he obviously picked the lowest value ones to give you. Plus, he didn't trade for Metro Exodus to redeem your key.
