  • avatar I won't trade much here and what I will trade will be games I already didn't count in bundle value when I bought it, so I might accept cheaper offers to get some bonus games quickly, but I will keep an eye on price disparity between ITAD and grey markets to know what I should get or offer. Thanks for your time.
  • Ok I understand your logic with the grey market values, even if I don't really get their prices. In the future I will consider that value that seems fair to me does not match other users who do not watch exclusively legit reseller sales.
  • avatar With bundled games, ITAD lows don't really matter. ITAD follows official store discounts, but we're trading bundled games here which are in a lot of cases 90% off from their retail price, while store discounts don't ever reach those values. We also use gg.deals / allkeyshop as a metric because the grey market price adjusts automatically with new bundle release as well as with official store discounts, both of these influencing the overall demand for that game.
  • @Penna Bic: (cont) Thus, for your Darktide you could have gotten another game worth 7€ on the grey market (similar value). Instead, you got a game worth 1.30€. Now, at least Rusty redeemed the key, but resellers will just get free extra profit from you that they will then invest into robbing yet another user. By setting your settings to Non-Intervention, you essentially invite them to rob you as much as they can (because those offers sent to you will not be intervened by us).
  • @Penna Bic: On Barter, there are a lot of resellers or people who would intentionally lowball you (that's why we created this Bart-ee system). You might see the game for 5€ on Fanatical or other official stores, but a reseller will just sell it on the grey market for 7-8€. To avoid cases in which people lose a lot of value, we recommend trading based on gg.deals values (grey market values) and this is what most users do these days.
  • avatar I understand the thing with the prices, didnt know about it. I dit a multiple offer, offering various games to trade for warhammer, if someone accepts the offer is because they agree with it i think. No problem wont happen next time.

  • Oh no I value The Forgotten City about 5€ because that's the minimum on stores I trust (fanatical bundles in this case) and considering there is humble choice for 9€ warhammer is valued less than 7-8€
  • avatar @Rusty: This is an outrageous lowball offer. The Forgotten City 1.30€, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide 7-8€. And you're doing this to a new user who might be unaware of the value of their games. If you do this again, you will be permabanned.
