The Humble Monthly is a blind preorder that includes a Humble original, early unlocks, and unrevealed games. Buyers pay in advance without knowing the complete contents of the bundle. Before the reveal, only the early unlocks are available to play. After the reveal, buyers have access to all the games, but the bundle is no longer available for purchase. Steamgift FAQ,
Humble Bundle FAQThe Humble Choice is a monthly subscription bundle of 8 PC games (prior to 2022, it was 10 or more). Typically the games are delivered as Steam keys, but occasionally through other platforms such as Epic Games or Origin.
Unlike the earlier Humble Monthly subscription, all games are revealed at launch and there is no mystery before purchase. As of 2022, there is a single subscription plan, but previously, depending on subscription plan, subscribers receive 0, 3, 9, 10 games, although frequently, Premium and Classic plans had received all games offered (12 or more).
As of March 2021, Humble reveals the list of games on the first Tuesday of each month, and automatically charges active subscribers on the last Tuesday of each month. Before March 2021, automatic charging happened on the last Friday of each month.
